At the closing circle I wanted to say a few things but I felt it would be very difficult and I would probably be a blubbering wreck to be honest. I just wanted to say now being back home, and kind of digesting everything that went on over the weekend, it doesn't kind of feel the same anymore to me. I've never met such inspiring, beautiful people, each and every one of you made me feel so so welcome and so worthy.
For those wobbles that I had over the weekend, you all brought me strength, positivity & a hope for a brighter future - not just for myself, but every one of us and everyone in this world, living with HIV.
There was so much warmth and courage shown by all of us, and I just wanted to say thank you from my heart, thank you. Thank you to every one of you. I'm not really good with words sometimes, and I struggle to kind of put emotions into words, sometimes especially in a big group of people - Because I'm not used to that - I'm used to kind of just being a loner really.
I just want to say thank you and I hope you know we keep in touch regularly and this WhatsApp group keeps going and going, get stronger, lots of positivity.
I know I’ve said it a few times, but truly thank you for making me feel like I'm someone in this world, because I never have -
and through all this we are one big family.
To be part of this is truly inspiring, and I feel so proud to have met every single person over the weekend.
So thank you and I hope you all have a great day. Keep in touch, Keep safe, Love one another - Yeah, thank you guys. See you soon.
